Your first session includes a thorough movement assessment where we discuss your goals, background, and current limitations. Not at all. We work with competitive athletes, recreational lifters, runners, CrossFit enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to move and feel better in their body. If you're motivated to improve your performance and build lasting strength, OPAL is for you.
Session frequency depends on your goals and schedule. Most clients start with 1 session per week for the first 2-3 sessions, and then we spread sessions out based on progress and what works for your lifestyle. We'll create a plan that fits your needs and keeps you moving forward.
Cash-based PT has a lot of benefits compared to traditional insurance-based PT.
With cash-based, you get to work one-on-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy for the entire session, unlike insurance models where your provider juggles multiple clients at the same time, you get handed off to an aide or exercise technician, or you are assigned to do exercises on your own.
With cash-based PT, there are no limitations on what type of services (i.e. physical therapy, performance training, injury prevention) we can provide, the quantity of the services or the duration we feel you need them. However, with insurance-based, your diagnosis and insurance plan dictate how long we can work with you and what services we can provide.
Being cash-based allows us to use our vast knowledge and training to give you the highest level of care in direct reference to your goals.
